The 2009 Dallas City Council Candidate forum will be held on Monday, April 6th, 2009 @ 6:30 pm.  This event is free to the public and all residents of the city of Dallas are encouraged to attend.  Audience members will have the opportunity to address candidates directly.  This is a great opportunity for the GLBT community to get their questions answered by those who will be serving them at the "horseshoe" and behind the scenes.  There are many candidates vying for less than a dozen seats this cycle so it is important that you have the opportunity to put a face with the names on the ballot and vote for those individuals that will best serve you.  What better way to find that out than attending a forum where by you can meet many of them at once and actually listen to them speak.  The event will be held at the Cathedral of Hope in Dallas.  For directions please visit their website at www.cathedralofhope.com and click on 'Contact Us'.

We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.
