DGLA PAC Endorsed Winners

The DGLA Political Action Committee endorsed 10 candidates for Dallas City Council races and two for Dallas County Schools.  Seven of the ten endorsed city council candidates won outright and District 1 candidate Delia Jasso received the most votes, but will be in a runoff election.  

The DGLA PAC endorsed Dallas City Council winners are:

  • District 2 — Pauline Medrano
  • District 3 — Dave Neumann
  • District 6 — Steve Salazar
  • District 9 — Sheffie Kadane, Jr.
  • District 11 — Linda Koop
  • District 12 — Ron Natinsky
  • District 14 — Angela Hunt
Two DGLA PAC endorsed candidates lost races:
  • District 5 — Don Robinson received 16.6% of the votes
  • District 7 — Anthony "Tony" Rios received 8.5% of the votes
In the at-large election for Dallas County Schools,  Larry Duncan won election and Cassandra Gandara did not.

The DGLA PAC thanks all of the candidates who submitted questionnaires and met the committee for interviews.
