Pauline has a long and proven record of public service and community involvement, a long and dedicated history as a close ally and strong advocate for the LGBT community. She has been productive and effective for her district and for the city during her first two terms of service representing District 2 on the Dallas City Council, and she merits a third term. A past DGLA endorsee with many LGBT appointments to boards & commissions, Pauline will bring continued leadership and insight to the council, and her hardworking style and vigilance within her district are assets to the LGBT community, District 2, and the City of Dallas.

District 3

Seeking re-election to a second term, Dave has been a visible presence in his district and around the city, including at major LGBT community events such as the Alan Ross Freedom Parade and Black Tie Dinner. During his first term, Dave assisted in shepherding forward expanded LGBT diversity training at the Dallas Fire/Rescue academy, and has a proven record of reaching out within the LGBT community. With high energy and a strong relationship with neighborhood leaders and business owners within his district, Dave will bring continued advocacy for the LGBT community and his district.

District 5

Don Robinson

Don is a Dallas native who will bring a wealth of community involvement to the Dallas City Council as its District 5 representative. His record includes decades in the telecom and business sectors, and a long history of community activism, including work within business and labor organizations, neighborhood crime watch programs, and economic development groups, as well as serving as a past president of the Dallas NAACP chapter. Don supports fairness and equality for the LGBT community, and he will be a strong South Dallas voice for District 5 and all of Dallas, including the LGBT community. With a platform focused on much-needed economic development, crime reduction, and full representation of all citizens in District 5, Don will provide an open door for the LGBT community and beyond.

Steve has focused intently on improving neighborhoods in District 6, both for residents and businesses, and it is paying off with increased economic development, crime reduction, and improved quality of life in the district, with continued growth ahead. Seeking re-election to a fourth term, Steve continues to stand with the LGBT community as a voice for fairness and equality, and he merits another term at Dallas City Hall.

District 7

Anthony "Tony" Rios

Anthony Rios is a great champion of issues in his district and the city as a whole. His attention to crime and the overall economic viability of our city is more than enough to qualify him for the position he is seeking. Mr. Rios has the experience and education to back it up as well. With a Masters in Public Affairs and Bachelors in Political Sciences he has worked very diligently to improve the quality of life for his district and the city as a whole. Mr. Rios has served on boards and committees for the city of Dallas and has a firm grasp on how the process works. And as more than just icing on the cake, his commitments to hiring LGBT staff members for his office and appointing LGBT citizens to boards and commissions make him a great asset to our community.
